#1 The Nazi Apocalypse
The very idea of Nazi Zombies is not an entirely new one. Even during the WW2 the Hitler’s army was considered unbeatable and unbreakable. The first zombies dressed in the uniform of SS were introduced in the video game “Wolfenstein” back in 1997 and now they have received another life in a brand new part of the game with an awesome detalisation and graphics. This creepy fellow was definitely inspired by the game.
#2 The Decaying Drowning Man
Many people might feel goose bumps while looking at this picture. It resembles a person that was drowned for a long time and the natural processes of decaying have already started demonstrating masterfully crafted naked parts of the human body like bones and brains. This would be a decent tattoo for some zombie fest or just for a fan of zombie culture.
#3 Green and Proud of It
The two pony tails and the face of this zombie have got a strong resemblance with Batman’s Harley Quin character. This is not a surprise that DC has got a whole series of comics devoted to superheroes in the world of the undead. Just take a look at these big red eyes that are screaming “I’m going to eat your brain”. The ferociousness of the picture is really something fascinating.
#4 Are You Talking to Me
Here the designer of the body art decided to return back to classics of zombie style – a rotting corpse of the undead that is longing for more flesh. The being looks as if it has just got out from his grave and is really extremely hungry for some flesh. The author masterfully managed to select the most suitable colors for zombie skin to make it more close to authentic movies by Romero, the creator of zombie genre.
#5 The Creepy MR. Z
Zombies never sleep! This joking art proves it well. If you take a closer look at the eyes of our Mr. Z, you shall see that there are black bags beneath the black bags of his eyes. Those people who think that they have got blood-shot eyes will see that they have a totally natural color of white after they see the red projectors of this creepy brain eating fellow.
#6 The Mummy is Here
Let’s go back to the classics of the horror movies. One of the oldest and the first mentioned beings from zombie clan can be entitled as the Mummy. Technically saying our friend in bandages is zombie as well: it eats flesh, it was revived from the world of the dead and it is falling apart. All the classical features of zombies have been met. This one will definitely find some good place on your shoulder.
#7 Let’s Have Some Fun
This is a fine forearm art of a cool looking zombie lady or it would be better to say zombie queen as she definitely doesn’t look like the one of stupid legion of the undead. She’s got a fine dark green make up that contrasts with light green complexion, platinum blond hair and, of course, some blood instead of a lipstick to crown the image of a predator female.
#8 Need Brain
Here we’ve got a dark brown art of a really scary zombie. This tattoo is characterized with wild eyes which are saying that they desperately need some fresh brains. As you might have noticed this zombie is quite an experienced guy. He’s got a wide crack in the middle of his head as if someone tried to deal with him by means of an axe and half of the skin on his face has been cut off, demonstrating fierce sharp teeth.
#9 Marilyn Zombie
There is a recent trend in zombie subculture to introduce stylized images of celebrities to look like the guys from team Z. Here we have got an icon of sexuality of past times – Marilyn Monroe. The artist of this tattoo didn’t wish to torment the lady too much and he perfectly managed to maintain a right extent of sensuality dressing it into the image of the undead and finalizing it with a bloody makeup.
#10 A Mexican Queen of the Damned
There is a special group of people in Mexico who worship the death. In fact, there is a real holiday that was devoted to it. The holiday is entitle La Muerte that is very similar to Halloween as all people dress into supernatural beings. Grim reapers are among the most popular images. This is a Lady Death image in a hood with a halo that was probably inspired by Divine Maria, mother of Jesus.
#11 Here’s Zombie!
This tattoo depicts the attack of zombies which have broken through the gates and are starting the hunt for their prey. The designer managed to depict the evil nature of these beings in a very detailed manner. A lot of attention was offered to the texture of the skin. There is also a cracked tombstone to symbolize the place of origin of these creatures.
#12 I Won’t Heal You
The ladies in nurse suits are the object of passion for many men. However, this nurse will not heal any wounds. It’s a zombie nurse and it is ready to feed on you. This zombie girl is in a very decaying state – the flesh is falling apart, one eye is missing and overall sight of the creature tells us only about hunger.
#13 Virus Zombie
This is a fierce zombie warrior that is holding a bone blade and is fully equipped for a fight. The whole body is covered with warts that were caused by zombie infection. Nothing human was left in this creature, there is only a strong desire to fight and slaughter for brains in a glory of the king Lich. It’s an excellent tattoo for a shoulder or a calf.
#14 I’ll Eat You Through
This is an image of a monster that is tearing through the flesh, trying to get out of it. The realism of the design will definitely shock you. Although the image is made black and white, it is totally enough for being scared when you see it for the first time. The pure white of the eyes states that there is no conscious left. There is only the feeling of hunger and animal instincts.
#15 Dawn of the Dead
This tattoo was probably inspired by an award winning movie “28 Days Later” that became a real classic of zombie genre. At this picture we can see two elements: the first one is a decaying corpse that has a slight resemblance with a Frankenstein monster. Below the image you can see a dark graveyard with a lonely standing cross on the hill and dark trees around. The image is filled with a top level realism and detalisation.
#16 Fear Abandoned Amusement Parks
The amusement park has often been selected as a place for horror movie actions as the most terrible things usually happen there. Here we have got a creepy looking pair of zombies with a merry go round on the background. The creations look very similar to clowns from the show. One is so gruesome with a makeup and a nail in the head that it is really hard to endure the fear that is overfilling the watchers.
#17 Royal Zombie
This noble red dress and the crown on the head really point at some royalty. It would sound really cool, but if you look closer at the picture you will see that this is the picture of a dead king that transformed into a living undead. A blue skin and streams of blood on the wrinkles point at the fact that this guy will not be against feeding on some brains.
#18 I’m Falling Apart
Here’s an extremely creepy picture of a decaying zombie that might cause trembling even with people who have got the nerves of steel. The designer put a lot of efforts into this work. We can see these creepy eyes that are filled with torment. The thin skin, which reveals the pieces of flesh with a single movement of fingers, is something that may cause the feeling of thickness.
#19 Death Doctor
This doctor will definitely break the stereotype of a traditional doctor image of a healer. It seems that this doctor is capable of inflicting pain and traumas. Pay attention to this mask – a smile like streak of red on it definitely proves the fact that this lady enjoys the pain of the others and knows how to maximize it. You will surely like such a tattoo on your body.
#20 Bring Me Some Satisfaction
Just take a look at these hungry eyes. Through the blank color of the eyes you can see that this creature wants to eat the brain till the whiteness of the bones remains. The master of tattoo art managed to depict every single millimeter of skin with plenty of details so that we could enjoy every element of the art with a fearsome astonishment.
#21 Hollow Mask
Here is a very simple tattoo design that involves the usage of an outline style. It is a simple technique that can be performed with a sample image where the blank spots are filled with ink. Such a hollow image looks as cool as the image that was done in a very detailed manner. The hollow eyes add even more creepiness to an overall style of the tattoo.
#22 Give Me More Food
The creature that is depicted on the forearm of the person has definitely ravaged plenty of battles in order to achieve its piece of meat. Pay attention to the scars that are covering the face of the person. Pay attention to the blood that is dripping over the razor sharp teeth and anger that emanates from its animal like eyes. There is a stylish game of light and shadow that results in a fine 3d effect.
#23 Cartoon Lord Zombie
Zombies can be cute and this fine tattoo art proves that perfectly. Here we’ve got a fine lord zombie that is dressed up in a stylish black tuxedo and a slightly chewed cylinder. There are even creepy looking zombie butterflies around him. To finalize the image of his lordship he sips some strange drink out of a special cup that contains a piece of somebody’s brain.
#24 The Dead Will Rise
If you think that miniature tattoos are not enough for you, please check this masterpiece of body art. It is a full back picture that reflects a revival of the undead that digs its way through the soil, hungry for some fresh flesh. We can also notice a giant raven that is floating above him. The bird carries a strong resemblance with Edgar Poe’s raven that screams “Nevermore”.
#25 Black and White Ink Art
The double calf tattoo art with a pair of creepy zombies is something that a real fan needs. Just take a look with what awesome creativity these paintings are made. The bulky eyes that see nothing but food and the giant mouth that is open wide to consume more flesh are excellent elements of a monstrous being that can be seen so often on the screens of the movies.
#26 The Hordes of the Undead
Look at the crowds of zombies on the side of a girl. They are walking towards their next victim. The owner of the tattoo must have definitely watched a popular series “The Walking Dead” where such hordes of zombies can be seen in every episode together with the remnants of the humanity which oppose the army of dead trying to survive.
#27 Say Cheese
This smiling zombie is a very good work of a tattoo art. Pay attention to the outlines and you will see that the edges are slightly blurred that is similar to the effect that can be achieved with a pro camera. The structure of eyes and the cracks on the skin also look extremely realistic. It seems that every moment this being will become alive and jump out from the sketch and eat everyone around.
#28 Show Me Your Teeth
Can you feel the frost that runs along your spine? If you answer in positive then a tattoo designer has managed to reach his goal – to craft an image of an ultimate horror. The fearsome eyes, the ripped flesh and the blood, that is dripping from the tips of blade sharp teeth, are the things which point at a real predator that is hunting its prey.
#29 Asian Evil Spirit
This mix of bright colors is not a standard zombie that is shown in the most of the movies. This is a traditional demon in the Japanese culture. It has a characteristic color of skin and extremely long hair. A snake like tongue together with the steam of miasma that is coming from the mouth of the being make an image of the eastern zombie complete and close to reality.
#30 Evil Dead
The series about adventures of Ash from the “‘Evil Dead” saga has received a totally new life and zombie trash genre has been revived once more. The creature from the photo is a typical undead with which the hero of the movie deals day by day. This is a fine replica from the movie poster with almost a 100% coincidence in colors that proves the skillfulness of the master.
#31 Let Me Give You a Zombie Kiss
Here we have another image of a lady Muerta. This time it is depicted in a green color and with an ornament on her face that resembles some ancient incantations and web. This is a fine decoration for those people who are acquainted with the cult of death goddess and want to have a sort of a lucky charm against perilous situations. It is said that death protects its worshippers.
#32 Used to Love Piercing
The piercing is a good thing not only for living people but also for the dweller of the realm of the undead. Take a look at this zombie fellow that used to be a fan of tattoos. The creature looks really cool. The giant spots of green and red make the image even more outrageous.
#33 Super Creepy Zombie Kid
Not very often the babies were demonstrated as zombies. Here you can see sample of such a baby that is totally blue with stiches all over the body as if somebody has conducted the experiments over poor body. The baby is holding a heart in his little hand. An overall image of a Z-baby is really super creepy because it can eat your brain regardless of the size!
